He Does!!!!
So, readers- you are now proud friends of a janitor (yep! one of those people who cleans up the mess you make- in the trash can and in the toilet bowl). It is a good day for the Underwood's when I can proudly tell people- "Hey, I'm a custodian!" Actually, I'm very pleased with this job. I'll get two weeks full time in before school starts and then part time when school is in. Days off that I've requested when I have to go to New York for my cousin's wedding, and full-time status once the holidays roll around again. The pay is not super, but it's not terrible either. All in all, it's a good job!

congratulations on the new job!
think of it like this: you remember all those youth trips when you'd get back and have to clean out all kinds of stuff from the church van or the morning after the lock-in when you'd find gum on the floor and food on the walls, and you'd be there cleaning the mess, thinking to yourself, "i don't get paid for this..."
well, now you get paid for that.
and apparently we all need janitors
