Everyone should listen to this podcast:
Under iTunes, search for "Saint Benedict's Table" and then choose the episode titled "Priest and a Rabbi: How we read the Old Testament."
The audio quality isn't great, but the subject material is ten times over worth the minor frustrations of crackles and rustles. I don't know much about the background other than the host is an Anglican minister and the guest is a Jewish rabbi. They both go through a methodology of approaching Scripture from both religious backgrounds and how we are able to gain understanding and friendship with each other.
I'd love to hear any comments of others who have taken a listen.
