The sounding board is the part of a string instrument (like a piano) that transmits the vibrations of the strings to the air, greatly increasing the loudness of sound over that of a string alone. It is also a generic name for a group of people bouncing ideas off of each other. This blog gives me a chance to “sound” things out loud and I hope I will be amplified by our interaction.

ultrasound photos
It's a boy!!! The arrow points to the "outside appendage." (That's how the ultrasound technician told us... little weird, let me tell you.) We are excited and now scrambling to find the right boy name. We'll post more as we know more.
I can't wait to find out - although I do not look forward to accidentally setting off the "sprinkler" while changing diapers... but, I guess that's just part of the fun!

btw, at what age do pictures of your kid's "outside appendage" on the interweb count as child pornography? weird.
You should name him "Beevis" or "Texas Ranger" or "Larry" or something ...
