“For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:9, NASB).
What an amazing truth about the character of God. This is in the context of Paul writing about those who have died, specifically their current and future state. Even in death, wrath is not the goal, but salvation through Jesus - something wonderful and glorious - is the destiny that God desires for us.

I don't know who left the last comment on your blog but it was downright depressing! What happened to having faith in God to perform miracles both great and small! Does God not have the power to change hearts and minds?! To save the wicked if they turn from their wicked ways?
