The sounding board is the part of a string instrument (like a piano) that transmits the vibrations of the strings to the air, greatly increasing the loudness of sound over that of a string alone. It is also a generic name for a group of people bouncing ideas off of each other. This blog gives me a chance to “sound” things out loud and I hope I will be amplified by our interaction.

sorry
I have stopped posting my poem in the middle of it because I needed to let my ego heal a little. I allowed someone to read my poem and they had a hard time understanding it. So, taking their suggestions (with a little frowning and moping), I have been reworking it over the past few days. I'll repost it all as one poem when I'm completely resatisfied with my work. Thanks for your understanding (or for not calling me at 2am and yelling at me about not understanding)!!!

Creativity is not always understood by everyone. Don't give up on it. I've enjoyed it so far. It's kind of like writing a song. You get the rough version written then smooth it out. Thanks for the post and keep writing!
