So, I finished the video of Isaiah's baptism a little earlier than I thought I'd be able to, so enjoy this bonus to video week. Isaiah was baptized on October 25, 2009 at Hope Springs Community Church in Lexington, KY. Both sets of grandparents were present as well as our good friends the Vandenbergh's and the Norrod's (Paul did the video - thanks Paul!!!).
The sounding board is the part of a string instrument (like a piano) that transmits the vibrations of the strings to the air, greatly increasing the loudness of sound over that of a string alone. It is also a generic name for a group of people bouncing ideas off of each other. This blog gives me a chance to “sound” things out loud and I hope I will be amplified by our interaction.

family from far away
... well, if you consider wisconsin far away. It is for us as we hadn't seen our neice, and she was born almost 3 years ago (though we did see a few of her siblings last summer). Joanna's side of the family was in full force at her parent's house the first weekend in August. Here are the many pictures we took during this time in Powder Springs, GA.

Top Row - From Left to Right: Nicholas, Zachariah, Tatyanna, Justin
Bottom Row - From Left to Right: Kaitlyn, Aiden, Gabrielle
[There would be a few more here, but I can't figure out how to place pictures under one another, rather than having them all jumbled up... any suggestions?]
